belVita Crunchy Breakfast Biscuits

I thought these were gonna be dry and tasteless - boy was I wrong!

The blueberry flavor tastes just like a blueberry pancake. Just the right amount of fruity sweetness. You get four in a pack/pouch which I think is just a bit much. I ate 2 with breakfast and used the other 2 to supplement snacks for the kids.

They've been added to the grocery list. I like having healthy snack options around the house for the kids and belVita Breakfast biscuits include tons of grains, fiber, and vitamins.

Lindt LINDOR Truffles

I'm not a chocolate person - if given the option between fruity candy and a piece of chocolate, the fruity candy will win every time. Unless the piece of chocolate is Lindt LINDOR Truffles. I am obsessed with their hard shells and melty centers. I received the Milk Chocolate from Influenster, but have tried other flavors. My favorite in the White Chocolate but I'll take any flavor versus no Truffles at all. The only suggestion I could offer is to make sure you don't let them get too cold, because then the melty center gets hard and that's no fun! The melty center is what makes the Lindor experience and they've spent a lot of time mastering that.

Rimmel Retro Glam Mascara

What can be better than a mascara that instantly makes your lashes longer and thicker? That sounds like a commercial, huh? But the truth is that ScandalEyes Retro Glam Mascara actually does that. I instantly saw a difference on my eye lashes, which is usually hard to achieve because I already have pretty thick and long lashes. In fact, I normally only use mascara to make my lashes look darker and stand out against whatever bright eye shadow I've chosen for that day.

The container itself is pretty cute, and it has a nice locking feature. You can actually hear it click into place - which means no dried out mascara or leaks in your make up bag. Also, unlike other mascaras it doesn't make your lashes hard. I was able to rub my eyes and not feel like I was completely messing them up.

Overall, I am a fan and would recommend it to others.

Dr. Scholl's for Her - Cozy Cushions

So you know I've had issues with previous Dr. Scholl's for Her products not quite being big enough for my size 10 feet. As a result, I wasn't exactly jumping for joy with the Cozy Cushions I received in my RoseVoxBox (compliments of Influenster). In fact, it was the last product that I tried in my VoxBox. This product ROCKS!!!!!!

I tried them in my Coach snow boots that I absolutely adore. I've had them for almost 5 years now, but they could still stand to be a little more comfortable and oh man were they. The Cozy Cushions are pretty thick, which let your feet sink into them. It's almost like you've turned any shoe into an Ugg (or Ugg like).

I would definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone. I even recommended it to my cousin who is in the US Army and she LOVES them in her combat boots.

Good Job - Dr. Scholl's.

Kiss Gradation Nail Polish - Film Noir

I've loved nail polish for as long as I can remember and as a result, I've tried a lot of different products. I've used a wide range of nail polishes and press on nails. I've seen the kits to do the different nail art trends, but I've always been too afraid to try them. The Kiss Gradation Nail Polish kit was one that had consistently caught my eye. So imagine my luck [and surprise] when I received the Film Noir [black] version of the kit in my Rose Vox Box from Influenster. It was actually the first product that I tried from the box and I was not disappointed!!

The directions make using the nail polish sooo easy. I completed both hands to personal perfection before Dr. Phil went off.

I've been telling everyone about my marvelous mani! I will definitely be getting Exposure [gold shade] and Freeze Frame [pink shade] and working on a perfect pedi.

**I did receive the product free from Influenster but the review is my honest opinion.**

SinfulShine Nail Polish [Review]

What is there not to love about nail polish?? It takes you back to being a 12 year old girl, painting your toes while listening to the hottest boy band of your time… or is that just me?? Either way I was excited to get the SinfulShine polish in my Sunkissed Vox Box.

I got the Wisp color in my VoxBox but I knew I wasn’t going to use that on my fingers so I headed over to Walgreens [it’s exclusively sold there] and picked up Rendezvous. I’m not the best at application, but I did like the color.

It really does live up to the “shiny” name. However, there are some major things I didn’t like that would keep me from purchasing the product again. As I was painting my nails, the polish was going on very smooth – thick but smooth. After it dried, I noticed some air bubbles and bumps. I’m not sure if it was the polish itself or the fact that it takes FOREVER to dry and I bumped something.

I tried again on my toes using the Wisp and I didn’t notice the bumps or bubbles. But I also used only one coat and let my toes dry all day [it’s a lot easier].

Overall, I would use this again on my toes because of the shine and color options. But I would only use it on my fingers to make designs or maybe to do a French manicure – anything that doesn’t require more than one coat!

Ouchless Ribbon Elastics [Review]

I have short hair – so the ability to actually test these on my hair was lost. [sad face] But I did get to rock them on my wrist, which is actually one of the things that they advertise! If you think about it, that’s a great point because how many of us girls walk around with a “just in case” hair tie around our wrist? At least now it’s cute and fashionable. You can’t beat function AND fashion!!

But from what I could tell they had some good elasticity to them and they snapped right back into shape, even after I had worn them on my wrist all day!

The best part about them is that they come in every color and pattern that you could possibly think of. The pack that I had came with black, 2 shades of gray, pink, and purple.

I saw this group at Walmart.

Overall, even with my limited testing ability – I would still recommend this to anyone that asked.

Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream [Review]

In the past I have not been super impressed with BB creams and I’ve tried two others. The Olay version is by far the best, with just one con [I’ll get to that later].

The box claims to offer these 6 skincare benefits all in one step:

• Refreshes skin instantly
• Brightens for a radiant glow
• Evens tone with a splash of sheer color
• Hydrates for 24 hours
• Smoothes for softer feeling skin
• Protects against UV damage with SPF 15

Out of these 6, I would say that only 5 were true for me. I didn’t notice a true even tone, but that could be because I have dark pigmentation issues from past breakouts. I think if the color were offered in a darker shade for use women of color that might be more applicable. It currently only comes in Fair to Light and Light to Medium. For darker skin ladies, myself included, the darkest shade can come off looking very ashy. So hopefully, Olay will add a “deep” color.

Because of its moisturizing properties, sunblock, and matte effect, it makes a perfect primer – which is how I will probably end up using it, because I like a little more coverage than it offers

Overall, I’m pretty happy with product.

Update:: Dr. Scholl's High Heel Inserts [Review]

UPDATE!!

I got this product in my Influenster Sunkissed VoxBox and I tried them again in a different set of shoes... and I stand by my original assessment. Good for small feet - not so much for big feet!!

I was really excited for this product, because we all have those heels that we love but can’t wear for more than an hour (if that). Unfortunately, this product was not meant for women with large feet [I wear a 10]. I placed the product where it should have been for my heel, but then the arch and toe support weren’t where they should have been. When I readjusted for toe support, the heel positioning was off. I tried just putting the insert right in the middle of my shoe, and it just felt uncomfortable. From the little bit that I experienced, I imagine that it would be extremely comfortable for those with smaller feet. Another good thing is that the stickiness at the bottom of the insert never rubbed off on my shoes and I was able to move it around and to different shoes. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t try the heel inserts again, but I would recommend them to other women [with smaller feet].
