Review :: Advil Fast Acting

I usually don't review medication, because to me that is something personal and everyone has a different opinion. HOWEVER - I had to blog about the new Advil Fast Acting!! The hubby and I are both fans.

Before I could even enjoy the "beauty" of getting a new package in the mail, the hubby had tore threw it to use one of the samples. He's recovering from back surgery but off the hardcore meds, so we've been working to find him an otc pain medication that he could use occasionally. This one is perfect for that. He said that it worked very quickly and still lasted as long as a normal Advil.

I had my own experience using it for cramps and was impressed. I felt relief pretty quickly (under 10minutes) and was able to go about the rest of my day. I didn't even have to pop more :)

Like I said - this is something totally personal - but I loved it.

**I received this product free from Crowdtap - however the review is my own**

Cottonelle Clean & Fresh

Hiya!! So let's talk bums... lol

I don't think I've ever discussed bathroom habits - but without going into details, I am super particular about bathroom habits for myself and my kids. Cottonelle has made my quirks seem less... quirky! The Flushable Cleaning Cloths are everything!! Especially for my 2-year old daughter who is still learning how to wipe herself.

In my free Crowdtap kit... I got:
-Cottonelle Clean Care 4 Pack
-Cottonelle Fresh Care Flushable Cleansing Cloths Dispenser
-3 Cottonelle Fresh Care Flushable Cleansing Cloths Portable Soft Pack
-3 Save $1.00 Coupon on any one Flushable Cleansing Cloths Dispenser/Refills

The portable soft pack Cleansing Cloths are ideal to put in my purse and take with me for the kids. Makes me feel better knowing that they'll be clean no matter where we go.

Cottonelle has done something special with their Clean & Fresh system and I will continue to recommend them to everyone I know - especially Moms of the newly potty trained.

**I received my kit free from Crowdtap but the review is all mine**

Schick Hydro 4-in-1 [Crowdtap]

I love when I can share my goodies with the hubby, but this time he got a goodie all to himself. The new Schick Hydro 4-n-1. I thought it was cool that it vibrates - that's suppose to help the hair stand straight for a closer shave. My husband liked the trimmer and edger. The edger was a little confusing at first, we both had to read the instructions on the back to figure it out. Overall my husband loved the razor, and we'll be buying refills for it.

I received this razor free from Crowdtap, but this review is my [and the hubby's] honest review.

Old Navy:: Beach Style [Review]

Recently, I was invited to do an Old Navy Style Council Beachy Style Event. [Wow - that's a lot to say] I got to invite three friends to go to Old Navy and have a mini fashion session with their new beach styles.

I had a blast at my Old Navy store with my sister and best friend! We started our day off early so we could have time in the store when there wasn't a lot of people. The manager Cory and sales assistant Debbie at the Tyson's Corner Old Navy were extremely helpful.

The selection was great - they had both bikinis and one pieces; both of them in tons of colors and styles.

However, I think that might be because Tyson's Corner has a larger store. I've been to some other Old Navy's that didn't have quite a selection. We very easily found the totes, beach towels, and flip-flops because they were all in the general area. The cover ups were easy to find as well, we saw dresses, skirts, and even really cute cover up shirts (my personal favorite). The only thing that we didn't see until the very end were beach hats, and that's because they were on the bottom of a different display - that didn't have anything to do with the beach stuff.

As far as the fit of the bathing suits the control max one pieces were great for the busty ladies in the group. But we found that the bikinis offered no breast support, which was disappointing.

Overall, it was a great experience. Old Navy was extremely accommodating and the booklet that CrowdTap sent was helpful in making the most of the experience.

**Disclaimer** I am a member of CrowdTap and received a free bathing suit, beach towel, flip-flops, and tote bag for being apart of this Old Navy Style Council event.
