Review :: Playtex Sport Fresh Balance

I really was excited about these because of what I've heard about the absorbency and the odor lock [no one wants to smell] - but the moment I opened the box I knew I wouldn't like these...

The "fresh balance" scent is over powering! You could smell the tampons through their little holders and I knew right then that I wasn't gonna like putting that... "there". In fact, after a lot of thought... I didn't. The scent was just too strong and it made me nervous.

So - that's pretty much where my review for the Playtex Sport Fresh Balance ends... and my generic Playtex Sport review begins.

I've always felt very confident with Playtex tampons - never had any leakage or worry of leakage. Which is support important when you're a SAHM and your kids want to #PlayOn ;)

Review :: Pure Leaf Sweet Tea

Another freebie from my Influenster VitaVox Box.

I'm actually not a super huge fan of Ice Tea... unless it's the super artificial kind that most Southerns don't consider to be sweet tea or in an Arnold Palmer - but Pure Leaf has made me a believer!

The tea is made with real tea leaves which makes it taste very natural. The Sweet Tea version that I got tastes just like my Mother-In-Law's southern bred sweet tea. It's got a great balance of tea and sugar that will knock your socks off if it's ICE cold.

Review :: Flawless Future Powered by Ceramide Caplet Serum

I'm youngish and when I first received this from Influenster in the VitaVoxBox, I wasn't overjoyed. However, I went into Macy's to check out some of the other products offered in the Flawless Future line, and was surprised. The clerk there explained to me exactly why at my "youngish" age I needed to be using a moisturizer like Elizabeth Arden.

I have oily skin, and I'm cautious about what moisturizers I use. This product was so light and airy that it just soaked into my skin, without leaving it feeling oily. No dewy look for me. My skin felt very soft. Also, there wasn't much of a scent, which I loved. I would recommend using it at night so that it can fully rejuvenate your skin, however it's light enough to use under makeup.

Oh yeah, and when you first pump it into your hand, it looks glittery!!! How cool is that??

Hiya!! So let's talk bums... lol

I don't think I've ever discussed bathroom habits - but without going into details, I am super particular about bathroom habits for myself and my kids. Schick Hydro 4-in-1 [Crowdtap]

I love when I can share my goodies with the hubby, but this time he got a goodie all to himself. The new Schick Hydro 4-n-1. I thought it was cool that it vibrates - that's suppose to help the hair stand straight for a closer shave. My husband liked the trimmer and edger. The edger was a little confusing at first, we both had to read the instructions on the back to figure it out. Overall my husband loved the razor, and we'll be buying refills for it.

Neosporin Neo to Go

Every time I see a commercial for this product, I think to myself I really need to get this. But whenever I go to the store, I completely forget about it. So, thank you Influenster for finally getting the Neo To Go in my hands. With two kids that enjoy the great outdoors, the Neo to Go was made just for us. It comes in a handy container and it's a spray, so no rubbing in. It smells like Neosporin and does the same job. It's a keeper!


Avon Anew Wrinkle Smoother

This was my least favorite product in the box, but only because I didn't really get to experience all of it's greatness. I'm only 27 with no wrinkles in sight. But it does come in that pretty mirror container and smells really good. I did try it on my skin, and it feels very silky. I'll probably pass this along [but how do you do that without offending??]


Breyers Gelato

The box came with a coupon and I was at Wal-Mart the very next day. I had heard the caramel flavor was amazing, but unfortunately my choices were Tiramisu, Raspberry Cheesecake, and Triple Chocolate. I went with Raspberry Cheesecake and was not disappointed. The gelato is very velvety and the flavor is strong [a good thing].


Puffs to Go [with Lotion]

As you can see, mine has stilettos on it, which I adore. Cute and functional! That definitely ups the odds of me tossing it in my purse. Of course the tissue inside is soft, yet durable.


Shell Fuel Rewards Network

So, I still haven't found a Shell Gas Station near me, but I was able to sign up for the program. It was very easy and super quick. The details of the program seem cool, every third use and you get 3 cents off gas. And if you connect your MasterCard credit card, you can gain rewards even faster.


Ivory Soap

This is such a classic soap, that I love for my kids. Especially my son, when he's having an eczema breakout. It's gentle but still gets the job done. It's also the soap I use when I'm making laundry detergent [yep - I'm that mom]. Also, isn't the old school packaging AMAZING!!!


Overall, very impressed with everything in the box. Influenster nation knows how to treat us Mommies right!!

belVita Crunchy Breakfast Biscuits

I thought these were gonna be dry and tasteless - boy was I wrong!

The blueberry flavor tastes just like a blueberry pancake. Just the right amount of fruity sweetness. You get four in a pack/pouch which I think is just a bit much. I ate 2 with breakfast and used the other 2 to supplement snacks for the kids. 

They've been added to the grocery list. I like having healthy snack options around the house for the kids and belVita Breakfast biscuits include tons of grains, fiber, and vitamins.
