Rimmel London Scandaeyes Rockin Curves Mascara

I was a little put off by the wand - which can be a little hard to hold at first. And even when you do get the hang of it - it doesn't make your eyes POP! You can tell you have mascara on, but it doesn't give as much volume and thickness as other Rimmel Mascaras.

Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick

I got this color and Nude Delight, and at first I thought it would be a good color. Unfortunately, as a black woman, this shade made my lips look dry and ashy - overall not flattering at all. I was really sad, because it feels amazing going on your lips. And I even kept it on for awhile to see if it would dry my lips out, and I'm happy to report that it doesn't.

Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lip Liner

This does it's job of keeping lipstick from feathering, especially deep colors like reds and violets.

Puffs SoftPack

There is nothing super special about the tissue it's self. However, the soft pack is nice. It doesn't take up as much room as the big bulky boxes (especially nice when you're keeping them in the bed with you). The color choice is cute, although it doesn't match anything in my house. If given the choice I would pick these over the usual box kind.

Jergens Ultra Healing Extra Dry Skin Moisturizer

I work a job that requires me to do repetitive movements with my hands, and it drys them out quickly. But this lotion, is a God-send - especially in this cold weather. It feels like it penetrates the skin, and after using it for awhile, I can tell that my hands are retaining more and more moisture.

resource Natural Spring Water

I know a lot of people try to say that water is just water, but I think you can tell when water is good water or just plain water. This water tastes very clear and refreshing. After running around with the kids #refreshwithresource is a necessity. Also, I found out that if you go to their website resourcespringwater.com you can have the water sent directly to you. No need to hunt it down in stores (dang near impossible in this little town I live in). (#contest)

Hair Food Moisture Hair Mask

Hair Food is meant to make your hair smoother for longer, but I experienced quite the opposite and I LOVE IT. I'm a naturalista, so I'm always on the lookout for products that moisturize my hair and make my curls pop! This does just that. It's an amazing detangler as well - not to mention it smells AMAZING!!!

Swiss Miss Simply Cocoa

This was my favorite product by far. The richness of the chocolate and milk together makes this way better than the kind with the marshmallows. Although, I wouldn't overlook the idea of adding other things like candy canes or the like.

Review :: Advil Fast Acting

I usually don't review medication, because to me that is something personal and everyone has a different opinion. HOWEVER - I had to blog about the new Advil Fast Acting!! The hubby and I are both fans.

Before I could even enjoy the "beauty" of getting a new package in the mail, the hubby had tore threw it to use one of the samples. He's recovering from back surgery but off the hardcore meds, so we've been working to find him an otc pain medication that he could use occasionally. This one is perfect for that. He said that it worked very quickly and still lasted as long as a normal Advil.

I had my own experience using it for cramps and was impressed. I felt relief pretty quickly (under 10minutes) and was able to go about the rest of my day. I didn't even have to pop more :)

Like I said - this is something totally personal - but I loved it.

Review :: Influenster's Vita Vox Box

When I first got this box... I wasn't over the moon about it, like I am normally for their boxes... but this one has more staying power than some of the others... Let's do a quick review shall we?

- Soft Lips Cube :: YUMMY! I freakin love this - it's my new favorite lip balm. It tastes good, smells good, and leave's my lips super soft. In fact - Soft Lips' Twitter says I have "kissable" lips.

- Playtex Sport Fresh Balance :: This gets a negative. You could smell these as soon as you open the box... and I couldn't in good conscience put those... "up there". However, I've tried Playtex in the past and have nothing but good things to say about them.

- Elizabeth Arden Face Moisturizer :: YES!! It feels amazing on your skin. And even with my oily skin, I never felt dewy. I went to the mall and got to try their other products and I was super impressed. Even as a 20-something it is important to take care of my face. #FlawlessFuture

-Bikini Ready Lifestyle Energy Gummies :: I wish I would have gotten to try a full bottle of these. What came in my little pack was only enough for a half a day - but it was an impressive half a day. I probably won't go out of my way to get a full bottle, but it was nice while it lasted.

- First Degree Burn Cream :: Didn't think I would EVER have to use this. But then my daughter bumped into our hot grill with just a bathing suit on and I rushed to this cream. It instantly soothed her and there was no scar. Now I am a believer!!

- Pure Leaf Sweet Tea :: This stuff is good - even for a chic who doesn't usually like Sweet Tea. It had the perfect balance of tea and sugar. I will ddefinitelybe trying the other flavors that they have.

OVERALL :: I loved this box for it's practicality - Good Job Influenster!

Review :: Bikini Ready Lifestyle

In my Vita Vox Box - I got a sample of the Bikini Ready Lifestyle Energy Gummies. I didn't get a full day's worth in the tester, but I got to try it for a morning and I was impressed. I could feel a little boost of energy, and there was no crash later. The gummies aren't the best tasting but they're okay.

But on to the goodness...

HOW DO I STAY BIKINI READY??

The most important tip I have to staying Bikini Ready - is to stay hydrated with LOTS of water... keeping the sodas and juices to a super minimum. Also, I try to get my butt off the couch and do something active, at least once a day - even if it's something small like walking the dog.

And of course keeping my energy high!!

Review :: Playtex Sport Fresh Balance

I really was excited about these because of what I've heard about the absorbency and the odor lock [no one wants to smell] - but the moment I opened the box I knew I wouldn't like these...

The "fresh balance" scent is over powering! You could smell the tampons through their little holders and I knew right then that I wasn't gonna like putting that... "there". In fact, after a lot of thought... I didn't. The scent was just too strong and it made me nervous.

So - that's pretty much where my review for the Playtex Sport Fresh Balance ends... and my generic Playtex Sport review begins.

I've always felt very confident with Playtex tampons - never had any leakage or worry of leakage. Which is support important when you're a SAHM and your kids want to #PlayOn ;)

Review :: Pure Leaf Sweet Tea

Another freebie from my Influenster VitaVox Box.

I'm actually not a super huge fan of Ice Tea... unless it's the super artificial kind that most Southerns don't consider to be sweet tea or in an Arnold Palmer - but Pure Leaf has made me a believer!

The tea is made with real tea leaves which makes it taste very natural. The Sweet Tea version that I got tastes just like my Mother-In-Law's southern bred sweet tea. It's got a great balance of tea and sugar that will knock your socks off if it's ICE cold.
